Elise Naero - Criminal & Nature Lover

Elise had always hated growing up with very little money in the family. They lived very modestly, using the funds and foods made from their farm to survive. The true struggle started when Elise’s parents told her that they were expecting a child, and that money/resources were going to be even tighter. Throughout her teen years, she met Aurora, another ‘exception’ child with a ‘blessing’ from her heritage. The two of them, being unique members of their families, felt a connection to one another and became quick friends. The two of them formed the duo “The Fox and The Rabbit” and they pulled off many small-scale ‘heists’ which were mostly stealing from houses and stores, allowing them to get away with their misdeeds without their identities being revealed. The two of them decided to attempt a larger scale, going for a (bank?? Whatever is in Mage Stock that’s similar) and it went exceptionally wrong. In the haze, Elise didn’t see what happened, she saw blood and chaos and heard the guards coming, so she ran from the scene and fled to the forests above Petalgrove.

During this time, Elise fended for herself, eating from the land and sleeping wherever possible, sometimes stealing food and resources from passing caravans. Her mask still lies in her bag, blood splattered and staining the left hand side of the mask. One night as she lay herself to rest, a green glow woke her and a vine covered hand caressed her face. She was immediately knocked unconscious, but woke to a new form-fitting set of armour and with an enhanced magical circuit. She has since been studying the magic she was given, and has recently decided she probably needs to venture further in nature to learn more magic. She put aside her fear and agreed to join a caravan leaving from Goldseed, hoping that in going further from the point of the crime, the less likely she was to be discovered.
